Orren Parker, an old settler of Dunn county, died Tuesday March 16, of apoplexy, aged 68 years, at his home at Connorsville.
Mr. Parker was born in Jefferson county Feb. 1, 1847, and leaves a wife and four children. Mrs. Theodore Berg and Mrs. Alfred Thompson of North Dakota, Miss Minnie and Edgar of Connorsville, also two brothers, George of New Mexico and Silas of California, and two sisters, Jennie and Janette of Sherman. A daughter, Ellen died in infancy, a number of years ago.
The funeral services were held at the Blanchard school house Saturday forenoon at 10 o'clock. Rev. William Gallaway officiating. Interment was made in the cemetery at Sherman.
