Lyle M. Beeman , 76, of Fulton died Thursday at Crouse Irving Memorial Hospital, Syracuse , after a brief illness.
A native of Hannibal, Mr. Beeman was a life resident of the Fulton area. He retired after many years with Columbia Mills, Minetto. Mr. Beeman also operated his own scrap metal processing business at his home. His wife, Joanne, died in 1985.
Mr. Beeman served with the Army's military police in the South Pacific during World War II.
Surviving are three daughters, Lynne Coant and Barbara Beeman , both of Fulton, and Nancy Andrews of Liverpool; two sisters, Jessie Omans and Audrey Kimmerling, both of Michigan; five grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Young & Son Funeral Home. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
