Mrs. Dimisha Ware, who made her home with her son, W. H. Ware, for a number of years, died Tuesday, April 26, at Phillipsburg, Mo. The cause of death was cancer, from which she had been a sufferer for many years.
Mrs. Dimisha Ware, mother of W. H. Ware, and Ed Ware, formerly of Mound City, Kansas, passed away after a lingering illness of cancer. She was operated on at a Fort Scott hospital two years or more ago and was thought for a while to be cured, but the disease was only checked, and returned causing her death. Mound City Republic" - Sunday Morning Herald, 6 May 1927, Sun, page 4
Her picture is cropped from a picture of Isham, Mishi, Edd and Ivy. I believe it to be either Fanny or Janie's wedding day (1901 or 1902).
