Lloyd spent his early years in Salt Lake City and graduated from West High School. At age 17, he joined the Navy and his parents had to sign him in. He served on the USS Intrepid Air Craft Carrier from 1943 to 1946 as an Electrician's mate. After his service in the Navy, he moved to Hurricane where he met and married the love of his life, Utahna, and they were blessed with five children. Together, they spent 65 wonderful years. He was an auto mechanic and worked at a variety of jobs. He was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and served in many positions. Serving as Ordinance Worker in the St. George Temple was his favorite calling. He retired from the Washington County School District as the Transportation Supervisor. He loved fishing, chess, photography, Sudoku, and other mind teasers. He loved to travel and spend time with his family. Family was his greatest priority and his greatest pride. He will be greatly missed.
