Annie was born in Temple, TX. She lived with her family in Temple for several years, and then moved with them to Waco, Phillips Chapel, and Vaughan, TX. On June 14, 1936, she married Weeks F. DuBose, son of James McRae and Maggie Weeks DuBose. They lived in Corbet, Navarro Co., TX, and operated a dairy for a number of years. Weeks died in 1967, and Annie was at her son's house in Ardmore, OK, when she died May 19, 1974.
