Fleeta Mae Collier, 87, passed away Sunday, Nov. 6, 2006, in Jacksonville, Ark. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Oakwood Cemeter in Waco, with the Rev. George Brock officiating. Visition will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at OakCrest Funeral Home.

Fleeta was born in Waco, Texas, to the late Leona Rebecca and Enos Lee Brock, and lived most of her life in Waco. She was a member of Kendrick Lane Baptist Church. She moved to Jacksonville, Arkansas, 13 years ago to be near her daughter's family. She lived five of those years at the Jacksonville Towers and the last three years at Woodland Hills Health and Rehabilitation Center in Jacksonville.

She was preceded in death by her husband, David C. Collier; her son, Davis Lee Collier; and her brothers, Ollie Lee Brock and James Franklin Brock.

She is survived by her daughters, Carole Burke and husband, James, of Jacksonville, Arkansas, Lana Cresse and husband, Lloyd, of Lorena; her daughter-in-law, Barbara Collier, of Gholson; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends who will miss her greatly.
