Ethel Burton Yanskey, 83, of Boise, Idaho, died Wednesday, January 25, 1995 at a Boise hospital of natural causes.

Viewing from 1-3 p.m. Saturday, January 28, at the Lindquist Funeral Home, Kaysville, Utah, will be followed by graveside services and interment at the Kaysville City Cemetery at 4 p.m.

Ethel was born September 21, 1911, Kaysville, Utah, the seventh of 10 children born to Robert M. and Mary Card Burton. Ethel was a loving, devoted mother, and a lifelong member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Later-day Saints. Despite a life made difficult by the loss of family members and ill health, Ethel never wavered in her love for her family or her faith.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Charlene and Rex H. Brown; her son and daughter-in-law, George and Rozella Yanskey, all of Boise; a sister, Melba Layton, of Ogden, Utah; eight grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by eight of her brothers and sisters, husbands, Ray Thomas and Russell Yanskey, and three sons.
