Brady F. Aycoth Jr., 72, died Dec. 23, 2000, at SunBridge of the Triad after several years of declining health.
He was born May 28, 1928, in High Point, a son of Brady F. and Addie Farlow Aycoth. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran. He was employed with the High Point Fire Department 12 years. He sold industrial flooring many years. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Sandra Aycoth Dees.
Surviving are a son, Monty Aycoth and his wife, Emma, of High Point; a daughter, Linda Ford and her husband, Robert, of Eustis, Fla.; a sister, Mrs. Frances Childress of High Point; a brother, Sherman Aycoth of Gastonia; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m. today in Floral Garden Park Cemetery by the Rev. Riley Puckett.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of the High Point Police Department.
Memorials may be directed to the charity of the donor's choice.
