The friends of the family were shocked this morning to learn of the death of Frank Anderson of Jacksonport, which occurred at 10 o'clock Monday evening from an illness of about thirty-six hours. He was stricken Sunday at noon with influenza which was so malignant that he was soon beyond relief. He was buried this afternoon at four o'clock at Robinson Cemetery. Charles Anderson, brother of the deceased, is also seriously ill with the same malady in the home. They are sons of Mrs. R.W. Anderson, and are members of one of the oldest and best known families in Jackson County. Frank Anderson is the youngest child of a large family circle and is about 26 years old. He was married about two years ago to Miss Myra Burgess and leaves a little son a few months old. Besides his wife and mother he is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Joe Massey, Mrs. C.C. McNew of Memphis, and Mrs. Allie Black of Waco, Texas, and his brothers Charles Anderson of Jacksonport and Robert Anderson, who is now in Europe. The deepest sympathy of our people go out to the bereaved ones in this sad home.
