Born in Carey, Ohio on April 23, 1933, she is the daughter of the late Ray and Margaret (Rothgeb) Stroub.
She married Charles Drew and he preceded her in death in 1951. She married Henry Pergram and they later divorced.
Surviving are her three children; David (Deborah) Pergram, Carey, Linda (Dave) Baldridge, Carey and Dennis (Shirley) Pergram, Hurleyville, NY, six grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren, one brother, Kenneth Stroub.
Ethel was preceded in death by two brothers; Robert and Ray, Jr. Stroub and two sisters; Audrey Stapley and Ruthie Stroub.
She retired in 1991 after working 30 plus years for Westinghouse/A.O. Smith in Upper Sandusky.
Ethel was a member of Memorial United Methodist Church, Carey where she served as historian.
She volunteered at the Carey Food Pantry for many years.
Friends and family will be received on Tuesday, January 14, 2014 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at STOMBAUGH-BATTON FUNERAL HOME, Carey.
A Funeral Service will be Wednesday, January 15, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Stombaugh-Batton Funeral Home with Rev. Penny Magee officiating. Burial will follow in Spring Grove Cemetery, Carey.
