Mrs. Kate Hutchinson Wyatt of 1833 Clifton Road, Atlanta, widow of Thomas Franklin Wyatt, died at Piedmont Hospital, Saturday afternoon after a short illness.

Mrs. Wyatt was a retired teacher in the Atlanta Public School System. A native of Haralson. She was the daughter of the late George (should be John) Wilborn Hutchinson and the late Mollie Gray Hutchinson. She was a member of the Covenant Presbyterian Church in Atlanta.

She is survived by a son, Thomas F. Wyatt, Jr. of Mobile, Ala.; a grandson, Thomas F. Wyatt, III, of Atlanta, three brothers, the Rev. Alva R. Hutchinson of Sarasota, FL, Col. A. G. Hutchinson, U. S. Army (retired) and J. W. Hutchinson, both of Haralson, four sisters, Mrs. L. S. Burns of Tucker, Mrs. T. V. Odom of Bradenton, Fl, Mrs. C. K. Cooper and Miss Martha Hutchinson of Perry.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from the Haralson United Methodist Church. The Rev. Stann Bliss will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery. Haisten Funeral Home of Griffin is in charge of plans. The body will remain at the funeral home until carried to the church 30 minutes prior to the funeral hour.
