Bennett, Louis Albert "HONEYDRIPPER", 60, of 1301 25th St. S., died Saturday (Sept. 8, 1979).
He first came here 54 years ago from his native Savannah, Ga. and was a retired advertising display supervisor for New York Transit. A former musician, he played the drums with several bands and was owner of a band. He was a 1937 graduate of Gibbs High School and attended Florida A&M University. Survivors include his wife Beatrice M.; two daughters, Estelle Doung, Brooklyn, N.Y., and Veronica Spector, Beverly Hills, Calif.; his mother Ethel Bennett, St. Petersburg; a sister Ruby Gibson, Miami, and two grandchildren.
