Our beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend to all, Robert F. Gephart, age 76, died peacefully in a Bountiful hospital surrounded by his loving family on January 9, 2014.

He was born January 19, 1937 to Wesley Clyde and Jennie Lyle Peck Gephart in Tremonton, Utah.

He married Norma Lee Leatham on July 17, 1959 in the Logan Temple.

Bob graduated from Bear River High School, where he was Senior Class president, and from Utah State University in 1959.

He retired from his career as a software engineering manager after forty years of service, and then became a representative specializing in insurance and estate planning for senior citizens.

Bob enjoyed playing tennis, watching the Jazz, going to concerts, traveling, and was an avid fan of USU Aggie sports. His greatest joy was in spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Bob will be remembered most for his great sense of humor, his friendliness, and for always being willing to be there in a flash to help when needed. He loved people and people loved him.

He was a faithful member of the LDS Church throughout his life, serving in a bishopric, as High Priest group leader, Elders Quorum President, Cubmaster, Sunday School teacher, and many other callings. He was a faithful home teacher for over fifty years. At the time of his death, he was serving as a service missionary at the Church Office Building.

He was a loyal American and served his country in the Utah Army National Guard for a number of years.

Bob is survived by his loving wife of fifty-four years, Norma, and children, Susan and David Duke, Brian and Paula Gephart, Paul and Tammy Gephart, and Wendy and Clint Bodily. Also survived by twenty grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; and brothers, Harry (Rhonda) Gephart and Clyde (Christine) Gephart. Preceded in death by his parents; beloved son, David Wesley Gephart; and son-in-law, Joseph L. Andrews.

The family would like to thank the ICU nurses at Lakeview Hospital for their kind and compassionate care of our dear Bob.
