Willis H. Case, age 90 passed away Sunday, January 5, 2014 in his home in Clovis with his family at his side. He was born in Mount Ida, Arkansas on May 11, 1923. He and his twin brother moved to Reedley where they graduated from Reedley High School in 1942. He served in the US Army Air Corp during WWII. He was employed by the City of Fresno and County of Fresno as a fleet manager for many years. Willis had lived in the Madera County for 38 years and was a cattle rancher for 30 of those years.

He and his wife were members of the Trinity Episcopal Church in Madera for many years and now are members of Holy Family Episcopal Church in Fresno. He had been a member of the Sunrise Rotary Club in Madera, served on the Madera County Soil Conservation Board, a member of the Fresno County Sheriff Posse and was a board member of the Ranchos Hills Seniors Club.

He is survived by his wife Dede Case of Clovis; 3 sons, Michael Case of Camarillo, CA, Julian Case of Eugene, OR, and David Case of Fresno; 1 daughter, Julia Smith of Fresno; 1 brother, Marion Case of Fresno, his former wife, Carol Case of Fresno. There are 5 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

A memorial funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Holy Family Episcopal Church, 1135 East Alluvial Ave., Fresno, CA with Jay Chapel in charge of funeral arrangements. Private inurnment will be at a later date in the Sanger Cemetery.
