Mrs. Alice Laura Garman, 77, widow of Samuel B. Garman, died Saturday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Charles Mumma, 129 South Enola drive (sic), Enola. She is survived by four sons, Howard and Norman, both of Harrisburg; Otto, Camp Hill; Lawrence, Enola; two daughters, Mrs. Robert Bates, Jr., Harrisburg, and Mrs. Mumma; 13 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was a life-long member of St. Mark's Methodist Church, Coxestown.
Services will be at the Charles C. Baker funeral home, Third and Maclay streets, Thursday at 2 p.m. the Rev. Dr. Harvey W. Marsland, St. Mark's Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in the East Harrisburg Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday after 7 p.m.
