Elizabeth White, daughter of John J. & Sarah (Deets) White, married Abraham Cantonwine in 1849 in Benton Co., Iowa. Abraham was the son of Charles and Mary Magdalena (Scholl) Cantonwine. Abraham and Elizabeth had seven children--four sons: Elihue (m. Emma Wright), Charles Jacob (m. Bessie A. Burch), Robert Martin (m. Melissa A. "Lizzie" Sharp/Sharpe), and Alden (m. Lina Lang) and three daughters (Harriett - d. age 15), Sally (m. Lucien Souther), and Lucinda (no information).
