Harold William Asher, 63, passed away peacefully Thursday, Jan. 9, 2014, after complications stemming from a tragic car accident in August 2013. Celebration of life: 3 p.m. Sunday at Everman United Methodist Church, 530 Townley Drive, Fort Worth. Interment: 2 p.m. Sunday in Everman Cemetery, 909 E. Enon, Fort Worth. Visitation: 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday at Laurel Land Funeral Home, 7100 Crowley Road, Fort Worth. Bill was born Oct. 26, 1950, in Bertram to Harold Bolton Asher and Lela Mae Asher. Bill was devoted to his family, his church, his friends and his work at NEMA 3 Electric Co. His compassion for others left a lasting impression on everyone he met. Bill was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors: His wife of 35 years, Pam; daughter, Briana; son, Bradley; parents-in-law, Velma and Roy Johnson; sister-in-law, Joni Johnson and husband, Bill Ostrowski; brother-in-law, Johnny Johnson and wife, Shelley; nephew, T.J. Johnson; niece, Allyson Johnson; and multitudes of extended family, friends and supporters.
