Lola Beatrice (Patton) Briscoe, 97, was born May 7, 1916 in Archey, AR to George Cleveland and Mary Lavine (Hayes) Patton. She passed away December 11, 2013 at Bellevue Health & Rehabilitation Center in Oklahoma City, OK.
Lola was a homemaker and childcare giver for many years. She loved to cook and take care of her family. In 1989, she moved from Springdale, AR to Yukon, OK. She was a member of the Father's House Church in Yukon, OK.
Lola is survived by her sons, Milton Briscoe and wife Carlene of Yukon, OK and Wayne Briscoe and wife Cindy of Claremore, OK; granddaughters, Deborah Gernandt and husband Jay of Edmond, OK, Kelly Hastings and husband Andy of Montgomery, IL, and Robin Todd and husband James of Oklahoma City, OK; great-grandchildren, Breanna & Cameron Gernandt of Edmond, OK, Emma, Payton & Noah Hastings of Montgomery, IL, and Addison & Micah Todd of Oklahoma City, OK; sisters, Lela Jordan and Juanita Ferrell of Springdale, AR; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Edgar M. Briscoe; brothers, Lloyd, Ethridge, Alton, and Austin Patton; sisters, Olieva (Patton) Barnes and Beulah (Patton) Williams.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m., Saturday, December 14, 2013 in the Yanda & Son Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Yukon Cemetery.
