SURVIVORS: his wife, Josephine Roberts Beasley of Soperton; a son, Michael Baxley of Macon; two stepdaughters, Barbara Dougherty of Lizella and Betty Smith of Macon; 11 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
