SOPERTON -- Thomas Grable Beasley, 72, died April 12 at Treutlen Nursing Home.
He was born in Treutlen County and lived in Macon for several years before retiring in Soperton 10 years ago. He was a retired truck driver and a member of Orianna Baptist Church in Treutlen County.

SURVIVORS: his wife, Josephine Roberts Beasley of Soperton; a son, Michael Baxley of Macon; two stepdaughters, Barbara Dougherty of Lizella and Betty Smith of Macon; 11 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

GRAVESIDE SERVICE: 1 p.m. Thursday in Poplar Springs United Methodist Church Cemetery. Savannah Now, April 1999
