Ida Geraldine Adams, 86, died August 31 at Mt. View Nursing Home in Elkhorn city.

Born at Burdine to the late William and Goldie Wyatt, she was the widow of Clifton Adams and a sister of the late Madeline Mullins, Glenda Massey, Beth Ann Hall, Acie Wyatt, and two infant brothers.

She was retired as postmaster of Burdine Post Offi ce, and was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and a Past Worthy Matron, had served as PTA president, and was a member of the Marshall's Branch Freewill Baptist Church.

Surviving are five sons, Clifton Adams Jr., Cedar Falls, Ia., Ronald Adams and wife Katie of Burdine, John Adams and wife Claudette of Hampton, Va., David Adams and wife Pansy of Viper, and Phillip Adams and wife Chris of Jenkins; two sisters, Jolene Cantrell and Patty Jean Swindall; four brothers, Franklin Wyatt, Jimmy Ray Wyatt, Glen Wyatt and Gary Wyatt;
10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
