GENEVA — Elizabeth "Libby" V. Rose, age 74, a resident of Geneva, Ohio, passed away Monday, Jan. 6, 2014, at her home.
Born in Wainville, W.Va., on Nov. 15, 1939, she was a daughter of the late Walter H. and Irene V. (Smith) Barnett.
Libby work at General Electric in Euclid, Ohio.
She was the a past president, district leader, chaplain and treasurer of Geneva FOE Auxiliary #2243. She loved animals and traveling.
She is survived by her children, W. Keith Rose of Geneva and Tracy (Al) Alexander of Mentor; companion, Burnell Messenger of Geneva; two brothers, Larry Barnett of Penn Run, Pa., and Gary (Joann) Barnett of Barboursville, W.Va.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Violet Rose.
Calling Hours will be Friday, Jan. 10th, from 2 to 3:45 p.m. with a FOE #2243 Geneva Ladies Auxiliary Service at 3:45 p.m. and 6 to 7:30 p.m. at WALKER FUNERAL HOME, 828 Sherman St., Geneva.
Celebration of Life Service will be 7:30 p.m., Friday, directly after calling hours, with the Rev. Jeff Stoll, of Saybrook United Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will be at West Virginia Memorial Gardens, Calvin, W.Va.

GENEVA — Elizabeth "Libby" V. Rose, age 74, a resident of Geneva, Ohio, passed away Monday, Jan. 6, 2014, at her home.
Born in Wainville, W.Va., on Nov. 15, 1939, she was a daughter of the late Walter H. and Irene V. (Smith) Barnett.
Libby work at General Electric in Euclid, Ohio.
She was the a past president, district leader, chaplain and treasurer of Geneva FOE Auxiliary #2243. She loved animals and traveling.
She is survived by her children, W. Keith Rose of Geneva and Tracy (Al) Alexander of Mentor; companion, Burnell Messenger of Geneva; two brothers, Larry Barnett of Penn Run, Pa., and Gary (Joann) Barnett of Barboursville, W.Va.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Violet Rose.
