Johnnie O. Craven, 97 of Magee, MS, died on his wife's birthday, Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at Hillcrest Nursing Home in Magee, MS.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., on Friday, January 10, 2014 at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Magee, MS. Burial will be in Magee City Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday, January 09, 2014, from 5:00-9:00 p.m. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee, MS.
Mr. Craven was preceded in death by his parents, John Wesley Craven and Hattie Jones Craven; wife of 50 years, Eunice Corrine Craven; daughter, Letha Mae Thompson and son, Otis Craven.
Survivors include his daughter, Shelby Jean Warren, Mendenhall, MS; eleven grandchildren; thirty great grandchildren, and twenty great-great grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Sue Craven and son-in-law, Paul Thompson.
Pallbearers will be Eddie Thompson, Jimmy Thompson, Jason Kittrell, Dwight Phillips, Glen Shiver, and David Puckett. Honorary Pallbearer will be Joe Mclendon.
