Gauger, a resident of DuPage county all his life, was born April 14, 1879, in Winfield. He was a mason's helper by trade.
He is survived by a son, Harold, of Dallas, Tex.; two daughters, Evelyn Wagner of LaGrange and Betty Coffin of Altadena, Cal.; and three sisters, Minnie Sherwood of Lombard, Etta Mulligan of West Chicago, and Tena Eggers of Wheaton. His wife preceded him in death.
Services will be held at the Kampp chapel, 120 N. Hale street, Wheaton, Wednesday at 2 p.m. Interment will be at Wheaton cemetery. Friends may call at the chapel.
