Mary Lou (Learned) Egts, age 74 of Centerville, passed away Sunday January 5, 2014 in the Hospice of Dayton. She was born November 15, 1939 in Augusta, Maine, the daughter of the late Albert and Esther (Washuk) Learned. Mary Lou was a 1958 graduate of Cony High School in Augusta, Maine; and was employed as a Registered Nurse at Greene Memorial Hospital and later with MetLife until retirement. She recently returned to Ohio, where she considered home, from St. Simons Island, Georgia. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a daughter, Kristal Meyer; and a sister, Dianne Rowe. She is survived by four children; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a brother, of Florida; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family. A private service with entombment in Byron Cemetery mausoleum will be held by the family. Arrangements in care of Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, Fairborn.
