Orofino -- Estella R. Hulett, 78, of Orofino was found dead in her home Friday night. Police said that she died of infirmities of age.
She was born Feb. 28, 1898, in Benton County Ark., to Oliver and Callie Brooks. She moved to Fort Benton, Mont., and Craigmont later.
She married Oscar F. Hulett at Wallace July 15, 1924. They lived at Coeur d'Alene, Kettle Falls and Orin. Wash., before moving to Orofino in 1934. She lived there the rest of her life.
She is survived by two sons. Victor Hulett of Orofino and Marlin Hulett of Fairbanks, Alaska: three daughters, Estelle Cook and Vena Steward, both of Orofino, and Dora Schulte of Pomona, Calif.; two brothers, Roy Brooks of Renton, Wash., and Hartsel Brooks of Renton, Wash.; 21 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
One son preceded her in death.
