Katherine A. Zurawski, age 92, of Menominee, Mich., passed away on Sunday, Sept. 1, at Bay Area Medical Center of Marinette, WI. She was born on Oct. 22, 1920 to the late Benjamin and Magdeline (Tenerovicz) Kosewski in Wallace, Mich.

On June 4, 1945, she married Stanley Zurawski at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Wallace and he preceded her in death on Dec. 1, 2004.

Together they ran a mink ranch for over 40 years, raised Hereford beef cattle for over 20 years in Menominee, and also farmed hay, potatoes, strawberries, and raspberries.

She enjoyed gardening, crocheting, cooking and baking, especially for family dinners and gatherings and visiting with family and friends. She was a member of Holy Redeemer Church in Birch Creek.

She is survived by two sons: Ronald (Sandy) Zurawski of Menominee, MI and Paul Zurawski of Brighton, MI;
two daughters: Marlene Zurawski and Mary Ann (Jeffery) Jones, both of Menominee, MI;
five grandchildren; three great grandchildren;
three sisters-in-laws: Lillian Kozikowski, Mary Tenarvitz, and Emma Zuraski;
a brother-in-law, John (Carol) Zuraski
and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by an infant son, James; four sisters: Anna, Josephine, Frances, and Victoria and three brothers: John, Frank, and Antone.

Friends may call at Holy Redeemer Church on Saturday Sept. 7 from 9 a.m. until time of Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Rev. Michael Ocran will officiate and burial will be in Birch Creek Cemetery.
