Marion Beverland was born to James and Joanna (Joan) McNeil Beverland on the Nebraska Territory praire. Her parents were members of a hand-cart company headed by a Cpt. Robinson. They got to Logan, UT, and later in 1884, moved to Moore, Alturas Co., Idaho Territory. She married James King, Dec. 19, 1879. To this union six children were born: Andrew F., James L,
Josie, Eliza L.,Jennie F., and Irene. James King died in
1923, at Logan, UT.
