The funeral of little Zella Fowler occurred last Saturday at two o'clockm at the M.E. Church. The services were conducted by Rev. G.W. McCombe of the Stevensville Baptist church. A large concourse of friends and relatives was in attendance and the service was beautiful and impressive. Among the floral offerings was one from room No. 3 of the school. The remains were interred in the Masonic cemetery. The accident which resulted in the death of the little girl occurred last Friday afternoon. Some brush was being burned in the field near the house and the little girl went out to the fire and her clothing caught before anyone saw her. She was badly burned about the limbs and body and died from her injuries.
