Freda Lena Reynolds, 92, died at 4:55 a.m., Sunday, Jan. 5, 2014 in Marion General Hospital. She was born in Home Corner, Marion, to the late Noah and Lura (Hollingsworth) Ellsworth Webb and was a student at Evans School, Home Corner. She married James Glover and then married Kenneth George Reynolds. Kenneth preceded her in death on November 1995.
Freda was previously employed with Osborn Paper, Lindley Box Co., Snider Company in Gas City and Marion. She attended Immanuel Baptist Church in Marion. She was a Girl Scout and Cub Scout parent; a member of the Marion High Steppers Parent Organization and past member of CTVFD Ladies Auxiliary and the General Motors Sympathy Club.
Survivors are son Kevin Reynolds, Home Corner, daughter Kimberly (Chris Covey) Cornell, Marion, sister-in-law Bonnie (William) Zitta, St. Joseph, Mich. Grandchildren Robert (Rita) Simison, Ossian, Mike Simison, Gas City Joan (Rodney) Lynch, Fairmount, Susanne Rumble, Fla. Heather R. Cornell, Home Corner, David (Elizabeth) Cornell, Iola, Wis., Robert K. (Jessica Cay) Cornell, Van Buren, Michael W. Cornell, Home Corner, Kena (K. Callahan) Lloyd, Marion, special daughter-in-law, Terrie S. Reynolds, Marion, lifelong friends, Anna Miller, Margaret Sprinkle, Kate Smelser, special sons,Ralph (Mona) Glover, Somerset, Geoff Kennaugh, Marion, 18 great grandchildren, five great great grandchildren, 44 nieces and nephews and100 grand nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service at 1 p.m., Friday, Jan.10, 2014 at Immanuel Baptist Church, 39th and Wisconsin St. with Pastor Ray Kughen officiating.
Burial will be in Estates of Serenity.
Visitation will be Friday, Jan. 10, 2014 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Immanuel Baptist Church.
