Clifford I. Arthur, 81, passed away December, 29, 2013 at Via Christi Hospital in Pittsburg.
He was born August 5, 1932 in Richie, Mo to William J. and Edith Hammick Arthur.
The family moved to Pittsburg when he was 2 years old.
Clifford married Helen Benskin on March 24, 1952. Helen preceded him in death on January 7, 2009.
Clifford was a happy, fun-loving person. He enjoyed making pillows for the residence and staff at Via Christi Village. He loved to visit with everyone about his hobby.
He is survived by two daughters, Terry Peters and husband Bill of Pittsburg and Melissa York and husband Jeff of Galena, six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and two sisters.
Grave side services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 11, 2014, at Crocker Cemetery located south of Pittsburg on K171 highway.
