Ruby M. Webster, 93, of Bedford, died at 1:38 pm on Monday, January 6, 2014 at Stonebridge Health Campus.

Born March 4, 1920 in Owensburg, she was the daughter of Aesop and Minnie Lynn George. She married Raymond "Bus" Webster in 1940 and he preceded her in death in 1988. She had worked in the accounting department of J.C. Penney and as a payroll clerk at ConvaCare. She and her husband also ran Webster's Cleaners in Oolitic in the 1950's. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star.

Survivors include a son, Larry Webster and wife, Sharon of Kennesaw, GA; a daughter, Carole White of Bedford; two grandchildren, Tod Zellers and wife, Kimberley of Oviedo, FL, Julie Cassidy of Mitchell; three great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; one brother-in-law, Charles Conner.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, three brothers and three sisters.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10 am on Saturday, January 11th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Rev. Dr. Kregg Burris officiating. Burial will follow in Cresthaven Memory Gardens.

Visitation will be from 5 pm to 8 pm on Friday, January 10th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
The family asks that friends consider memorial contributions be made to the First Baptist Church.
