Janet C. Noel, 80, Pontiac, died at 8:25 a.m. Monday (Jan. 6, 2014) at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center, Bloomington.
She was born July 21, 1933 in Pontiac, a daughter of Jean A. and Alice Storslee McCoy. She married Milford Noel on Oct. 7, 1968 in Pontiac. He preceded her in death on June 10, 2012. She was also preceded in death by one brother, Mac McCoy and one sister, Virginia Whitley.
She is survived by her five children, Timothy Reed, Rory (Carlene) Reed, Jeanna (Paul) Huette, Rita (Jim) Hoch and Milinda "Mindy" (Kevin) Flick; 13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild and one sister, Charlene Kipfer.
She was a certified nursing assistant and had started her career at OSF St. James Hospital and later worked at Evenglow, where she was the CNA team leader.
