Bob Bonn passed away at age 59 of cancer. As a youth in the 1950s, he had been a drummer with the Kenosha CYO Band and the Kingsmen drum and bugle corps, and he followed drum and bugle corps competitions in the 1960s. At the time of his passing, Bob was a small-engine mechanic for the Nelson Mower Shop in Kenosha, Wisconsin.

Bob married Dale Andrea Taskinen on October 26, 1968 in Racine, Wisconsin. (Born on November 18, 1943 in Shawano, Wisconin, she passed away on January 4, 2014 at 70 at the Kenosha Medical Center. She was the daughter of Roy and Phoebe (Schilling) Taskinen and was educated in the schools of Marinette, graduating from Horlick H.S. and was employed at Mr. David's Salon as a beautician for 40 years.) Survivors include their children, William Bonn of Juneau, Alaska and Teresa Lupi of Kenosha; her mother, Phoebe Taskinen of Racine; her sister, Carol (Carl) Wondra of Racine; grandchildren Kaitlyn, Ryan and Amanda; and great-grandchildren Logan and Maci.Birth: July 24, 1942. Death: August 25, 2001. Age: 59.
