PRINCETON — Fred A. Flood, 61, Caldwell County, died at 2:27 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 1, 2005, at the Caldwell County Hospital of natural causes.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Morgan's Funeral Home with the Revs. Jimmy Fuller and Don Pippin officiating. Burial will be in Blue Spring Church Cemetery, Caldwell County with military rites. Visitation will be from 4 until 8 tonight.
He was born June 8, 1943, the son of the late M.A. and Odessa Farmer Flood. He was a maintenance supervisor at the Kentucky State Penitentiary and was a veteran. He was a member of the Blue Spring Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley Mitchell Flood; three sons, Freddie Flood Jr. and Chris Flood, both of Caldwell County, Bill Flood, Caldwell County; a brother, Steve Flood, Dexter and four granddaughters.
