SAMUEL PERRY WILLIAMSON
Samuel Perry Williamson, 92, of Rt. 1, Horse Shoe, died Saturday February 23, 1974, in a Henderson County hospital after a brief illness.
He was a lifelong resident of Henderson County, and the husband of Hassie Sitton, who died in 1971. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Mills River United Methodist Church.
Mr. Williamson is survived by one son, M. Kenneth Williamson of Macon, Ga.; a granddaughter, two great-granddaughters, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Monday at Shepherd's Church Street Chapel. The Revs. W. L. Crowell and Robert Early officiated. Burial was in Mills River United Methodist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers were Harry and Bert Sitton, Robert Bryson, Sheldon Davenport, John White and Dr. H. B. Norton.
