Glenwood, Mrs. Jeanette Tootle McRae, age 91, of Glenwood, died Monday, January 6, 2014 in Glenwood Healthcare after an extended illness. She was a native of Toombs County, was a 1939 graduate of Vidalia High School, moved to Glenwood in 1951, and was employed at Ailey Manufacturing for thirty-eight years. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Glenwood, the Ladies Fellowship Sunday School Class. She sang in the choir and taught children's Sunday school for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Malcolm R. McRae; parents, Malcolm A. and Annie McSwain Tootle;

Mrs. McRae is survived by numerous nieces and nephews, including Bobbie Nell Allen of Vidalia.

The funeral service will be held Wednesday, January 8th at 3:00 pm in the First United Methodist Church of Glenwood with Reverend Brian Durden officiating. Burial will follow in the Glenwood City

The family will receive friends at the church on Wednesday beginning at 2:00 pm.
