Kerrville - Services for Mrs. Clara M. Schmidt, 79, of Kerrville, who died Wednesday in a local hospital, will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday in the Kerrville Funeral Home chapel with Father Kenn Knopp officiating.
Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery.
Mrs. Schmidt was born March 7, 1913 in Corpus Christi, Texas. She moved to Kerrville in 1947 where she and her husband Edward John Schmidt were owners and operators of the Del Norte Restaurant until 1957.
She was a member of Norte Dame Catholic Church.
Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Gene "Beverly Brown" Yanda of Kerrville, TX and Mrs. Dan "Barbara" Denson of Broadus, MT; one sister, Mrs. Jewel H. Childs of Kerrville, TX; two brothers, J.T. Herin and his wife LaFawn of Ganado, TX. and Charles A. Herin of Corpus Christi, TX; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Kerrville Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
