Lod L. Hannahs, 73, a retired farmer of near Batesville, died Saturday evening, Sept. 17, 1966, at his home. He had been in ill health.
Mr. Hannahs was born in Monroe County, October 13, 1892, the son of Samuel and Emma Jones Hannahs.
His wife, the former Pearl Roe, whom he married March 4, 1912, died several years ago.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Olive St. Clair, of Zanesville; three sisters, Mrs. F. P. Tuttle, of Zanesville; Mrs. V. W. Barnes, of Jackson, and Mrs. C. D. Friday of Bethesda, Maryland; two brothers, Glenn Hannahs of near Cambridge, and Rufus Hannahs of Zanesville; eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at two o’clock in the Eberle Funeral Home at Quaker City, with Rev. Milford Carey officiating.
Burial was in Beaver Baptist Cemetery near Batesville.
