Ansel W. Black, 85, of Fort Wayne, an avid golfer and fisherman, died Sunday, June 17, 2001, at Hospice Home of Northeast Indiana. "He loved people."
He was a native of Allen County. Surviving are his wife, Miriam E.; a son, Michael E. of Fort Wayne; and a daughter, Jane A. Clayton of Fort Wayne. He was preceded in death by a brother.
Services are 1 p.m. Thursday at Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road, with calling from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will be at Covington Memorial Gardens.
