MOUNT CARMEL -- Hershel Troy Peach, 94, of Madison, N.C., formerly of Mount Carmel, died Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2002, at Britt Haven in Madison.
He was an independent trucker.
Surviving are his wife, Cornelia "Deanne"; four sons, Herschel Ray, William, Edward and Larry; three sisters, Mildred Turner, Delores Peavler and Minnie Dossett; two brothers, Melvin and Claude; and 12 grandchildren.
Services 2 p.m. Sunday at Short Funeral Home, burial in Highland Memorial Cemetery. Visitation is 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday.
