Services for Opal M. Jarvis, 72, of Davenport, are 10 a.m. Friday at Halligan-McCabe-DeVries, Davenport. Visitation is one hour prior to services. Burial is in Davenport Memorial Park.
She died Sunday, Oct. 12, 2003, at Genesis East, Davenport.
She was born Oct. 26, 1930, in West Point, Iowa, to Omar and Virginia Hines Hubbs.
She worked in housekeeping at the former Davenport Hotel.
Surviving are her daughters Jennie Sloan, Moline, and Mary LaMar, Rock Island; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
