C.F. (Frank) Mitchell (61 (sic), Grand Prairie real estate man, died in a Dallas hospital Sunday after a short illness.

Mitchell was associated with the G.H. Turner real estate and insurance firm of Grand Prairie. He had worked for the Ujnited States Department of Agriculture for many years prior to that. Before moving to Grand Prairie twenty years ago, Mitchell lived in Greenville.

He was a member of the Grand Prairie Masonic Lodge, the Greenville Knights Templar, the Grand Prairie Rotary Club and the First Baptist Church in Grand Prairie.

Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Monday at the First Methodist Church in Grand Prairie with Dr. Walter McKinzie, the Rev. James W. Taylor and Dr. E.A. Hunter officiating. Burial will be in Southland Memorial Park in Grand Prairie.

Surviving are his wife; one daughter, Mrs. Jamie Morrow; one sister, Mrs. R.M. Johnston, all of Grand Prairie; one brother, John Mitchell of Ventura, Calif., and one grandchild.
