C. T. Curless left Monday evening for Wewoka, where two of his boys were killed on the railroad. An article in the Oklahoman, stating that two unidentified boys were killed near Wewoka, led Mr. Curless to believe that they were his boys, who had run away from home a week ago last Sunday on their way to that part of the country. Mr. Welch, who accompanied Mr. Curless, identified the bodies and brought them here for burial today.

From The Independent. (Cashion, Okla.), Vol. 5, No. 19, Thursday, September 12, 1912.

George Raymond Curless was born July 15, 1898, near Marion, Indiana; departed this life September 9, 1912, age 14 years, 1 month, 25 days.

These boys were the sons of C. T. and Clara B. Curless, and with their parents came to Oklahoma and settled on the place now know as the Logan Beck farm, near Cashion, about eleven years ago. These boys were given as good schooling as any country school offers, and were brought up in a good Christian family. Mr. and Mrs. Curless are honored citizens among the citizens of their community and had raised these boys as boys should be brought up.
Funeral services were held at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon, Sept. 12, 1912, at the Christian church in Cashion, Rev. Jesse Carney, of Wellston, officiating. A large number of sympathizing friends were present at the services and many followed the remains to the cemetery, where they were laid in their last resting place.
