Fairview resident Aaron C. Winegar III, 40, died Friday, July 29, at his home.
Aaron was born Aug. 7, 1970, in Gresham to Aaron Jr. and Dianna (Salathe) Winegar. Aaron was raised and educated in Troutdale, where he played soccer and baseball.
Aaron worked as a cook for many years at Heidi's of Gresham and at other restaurants.
Aaron enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephews and his family. He liked to meet with his friends at the Hangout to play pool, darts and sports. He was a Ducks and Trail Blazers fan, never missing a game on television.
Survivors include his father and stepmother, Cathy, of Gresham; mother of Portland; sisters, Melissa Hernandez of Gresham and Lacy Catabay of Portland; and brothers, Randy Winegar of Fairview and Bryan Winegar of Gresham.
