MRS. LAFFEY BARNES, the beloved second wife of Mr. General Barnes and their union was blessed with three children.
Mrs. Laffey was a devoted wife and mother. Mrs. Laffey was a Christian Woman, reared her children in the knowledge of the Lord. Mrs. Laffey loved to up-keep her home and to cook home made meals for her family and friends. Mrs. Laffey's enjoyed her family gatherings and conversation with her family. Mrs. Laffey would share her love, her support, her wisdom, and her guidance with her family and friends. Mrs. Laffey always encouraged her children to love the LORD, to love one another to love their family members, to love their neighbors and most of to love their selves. Mrs. Laffey loved her children,
her husband dearly. Mrs. Laffey made numerous of friends wherever she went and Mrs. Laffey will be sincerely missed by all who loved and knew her.
Mrs. Laffey leaves to cherish her loving memories: her devoted husband~ Mrs. General Barnes; three sons: Mr. Henry Cox, Mr. General Barnes Jr. and Mr. Billy Barnes; two step- sons: Mr. Darthur Barnes and Reverend Willie Barnes; one daughter: Ms. Linda Barnes; four step-daughters: Mrs. Ruth Smith, Mrs. Lucy Allen, Mrs. Odessa Boykin and Mrs. Mildred Miller; son-in-law and step-sons-in-law; daughters-in-law, and step-daughters-in-law; grandchildren, great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
