Mrs. Sevilla Jane Dunmeyer, 93, Maple Mountain Manor, Berlin, died July 4, 1979 in Maple Mountain Manor. Born Oct. 24, 1885 in Lincoln Township, she was a daughter of
Henry and Mary (Brooks) Darr. Preceded in death by her first husband, Peter Snyder; and her second husband, Walter Dunmeyer; also by a daughter, Carrie; son, Willis; two stepsons; one stepdaughter; two brothers; and four sisters. Survived by a daughter, Minnie, wife of David Ash, Somerset RD 1 and these stepchildren: Mildred, wife of Lloyd Berkey, New Centerville; Melba, wife of Samuel Cook, Ravenna, Ohio; Betty, wife of Fred Shaffer, Somerset RD 2; and Gerald Dunmeyer, Somerset RD 5; 12 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; 24 great-great-great-grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren, 11 step-great-grandchildren; and nine step-great-great-grandchildren. A sister of Freeman Darr and Agnes Zerfoss, both of Johnstown. A member of the Christ Casebeer Lutheran Church. Friends received after 2 p.m. Thursday at the Richard F. Hauger Funeral Home, where service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in the Casebeer Lutheran Church with the Rev. Robert Clark officiating. Interment, Casebeer Cemetery. The body will lie in state in the church from 1 p.m. Friday until time of service.
