Funeral services for Francis E. Dowell, 77, who died at his home at 241 Fifth St., Bremerton, on Dec. 3, will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Lewis Funeral Chapel, Bremerton. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
He was born Jan. 23, 1896, in Chicago, Ill., and moved to Washington with his family in 1907 and to Bremerton in 1910, where he resided all his life.
He was a clerk at the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard for 51 years and a member of the Bremerton Elks Lodge for 48 years.
He is survived by two nephews, John A. Olmer, Seattle, and Wilfred Dowell, San Francisco, Calif.
Memorials may be made to the Elks National Foundation, 285 Fifth St., Bremerton.
