She died Tuesday, Nov. 1, at her residence.
A native of Floyd County, she graduated from Lubbock High School and attended Texas Tech. She married Bob Clemmons Nov.13, 1956 in Lovington, N.M. She moved to Lubbock from Brownfield and was a member of First Presbyterian Church, the Daughters of the American Revolution, and Beta Sigma Phi. She had held all offices in the Pilot Club and was a charter member of the Social Order of Beauceant. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Recia, in 1976; her parents; and two brothers, Charles and Arlis Mize.
Survivors include her husband, Bob; a son, Rev. Lance Clemmons and wife Merry of Clovis, N.M.; a sister, Judy Hall and husband Wayne of Lubbock; and three grandchildren, Katheryn, Emma and Nathaniel.
