OBITUARY
ALBERT DUCKWORTH
KEOSAUQUA - Albert S. Duckworth, 95, of Cape Girardeau, Mo., a former Keosauqua resident, died September 19, 1958 in a hospital at Cape Girardeau.
He was the son of the late Capt. William and Rebecca Evans Duckworth of Keosauqua and was born near Bloomfield April 28, 1863. He was the twin brother of the late Herbert E. Duckworth of Keosauqua. He was married June 22, 1896, to Lotta Boutin of Centerville, who survives.
For many years he served as curator of the Cape Girardeau college and retired in 1956. In 1952 he was honored by the college alumni for his long and outstanding work.
In addition to his wife Lotta, he is survived by two sons, Vice Admiral Herbert Duckworth of Jacksonville, Fla., and Samuel Duckworth of Lafayette, La., and a daughter, Mrs. Ramona Steinbeck of Union, Mo.
Funeral and burial was at Cape Girardeau.
