Agnes Dougher, 79, of Main Street, Port Griffith, Jenkins Township, died
FridayBorn in Pittston, May 7, 1913, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Agnes Hoag Gavin. She was a graduate of Jenkins Township High School.
She was a member of St. John's Evangelist Church, Pittston.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene, in 1972; brothers, John Joseph and Edward Gavin; sisters, Catherine Haston, Eleanor Feeney and Mae Gavin.
Surviving are her daughters, Mrs. Gerald (Joan) Butler, Mrs. Joseph (Mary) Kovaleski and Ann Garubba, all of Pittston; sons, Joseph, of Scranton; Paul, Springbrook; 11 grandchildren.
A funeral will be at 9 a.m. Monday from the Adonizio Funeral Home Inc., 251 William St., Pittston, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in St. John's Evangelist Church.
Interment will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Carterton.
